The Skagit Valley Weavers' Guild (SVWG) is an active, friendly, and encouraging group of weavers, spinners, and general fiber enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. Throughout the year we have field trips, workshops, and programs in addition to our monthly meetings. We welcome you to join us! To receive our monthly newsletter contact: newsletter@skagitweaversguild.org
Our next regular meeting will be Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10 am the PROGRAM will feature Amy Belgan https://amybelgan.com/ discussing tapestry design Amy began weaving in mid-2016 when she took an intro to weaving class at an art store in San Francisco, CA. That class provided her with some weaving groundwork and her first loom. She slowly tried perfecting her weaving over time, eventually taking a more advanced class at Damascus Fiber Arts School in 2018 which helped her to fine tune her craft. She has been a student of both photography and graphic design, which is why her work favors graphic design with geometric elements. Allen United Methodist Church 16775 Allen West Rd, Bow, WA 98232
