YARN WINDING
In this workshop, we’ll be winding yarn around a 4” x 4” wood tile to play with yarns, textures,
and colors to make an art piece. As they are wrapped, the yarns are layered on each other
randomly or can be layered to make a pattern. We are familiar with yarn wraps on index cards
to determine warp size, sett, and colors, but yarn windings can take your color choice and
design process into a new dimension.
